This class covers essential techniques like pinch pots, coil building, and slab construction, allowing you to create intricate, expressive forms. Whether you're new to handbuilding or experienced, you'll refine your technique, explore creative combinations of handbuilding and wheel throwing, and receive personalized guidance to troubleshoot challenges. By the end, you'll be able to confidently incorporate handbuilding into your work, whether for functional pottery or sculptural pieces, and leave with a deeper understanding of your craft.
