Service Description
Every other Sunday 11am-1pm Learn Ceramic Handbuilding Basics in a Single Session! Work with Ania to explore basic techniques of handbuilding with stoneware clay by creating surface texture and slab building. If you enjoy some of the technical aspects of building with slabs in this introductory class, you'll thrive in our 7 week handbuilding course, which delves into other methods like pinch and coil pots and allows a large degree of freedom in designing individual projects. "Handbuilding is a pathway to the remembrance of your playfulness!" Pottery made will be finished by Village Clay staff with a glaze of your choice and available for pick-up at a later date following your class.
Cancellation Policy
Payment is due at the time of booking, either online or by booking your spot in person at the Village Clay studio, where payment can be made via cash, check, or card. You may reschedule this booking or cancel with a full refund or until 6pm on the Wednesday before Sunday's class. If you would like to cancel after 6pm Wednesday, please call the Village Clay studio at 315-228-2029 during our open hours to speak with a staff member. We can manually cancel your booking, but a refund will only be issued if your spot is filled before the class takes place.
